Busti, NY (August 20, 2015): Saturday's will soon have the characteristic scent of racing fuel in the air near Busti, NY as racecars will soon be again pounding the clay at the New Stateline Speedway on September 5, 2015.
At a planning meeting August 18 at the track, new owners Jim Scott, Jean Scott, and Brian Horner outlined plans to present two events in September then present a full season of the racing excitement that has thrilled area race fans since 1956. The “Little Track” off turn four will also be in operation, expecting an opening date of August 29.
Plans at this time are to open with a full evening of all seven of Stateline’s regular classes (Overhead Door of Jamestown Super Late Models, Shults Auto Group RUSH Crate Late Models, Sugar Grove Beverage E-Mods, Limited Late Models, Street Stocks, Sportsmen, and Challengers). The main event of the evening will be a 30-lap feature for the Super Late Models known as the “The Lite House 30”. All other divisions will race regular length features. Points earned in the first part of the season will be retained and season champions will be crowned at season’s end. Current points leaders are Greg Oakes in the Super Lates, Jason Genco in Crate Lates, Greg Johnson E-Mods, Chris Ottaway Limited Late Models, Dan Nocero jr Sportsmen, Tony Marotto Street Stocks, and Andy Proper Challengers.
The Lite House Auto 30 will be a thirty lap feature with the winner collecting $2000!
Plans are being formulated for the 2016 season with resurfacing the track among the top priorities. A re-structuring of the weekly program is being discussed as well with regular practices for competitors being planned.

The New Stateline Speedway Presented by Lite House Auto is located south of Jamestown, NY on Kortright Rd in the town of Busti, NY. Tickets for this Saturday's event are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (65 and over) and veterans, $8 for kids 6-15, with 5 and under always free. Pit admission is $30.
