Stateline Honors Champions with Annual Banquet!

Busti, NY (January 17, 1016): Stateline Speedway held its annual awards banquet at the Seneca-Allegheny Casino in Salamanca, NY Saturday night with nearly 300 fans, race teams, and staff in attendance.

The top ten points drivers in each division were acknowledged with trophies, plaques, and cash awards. The champions for each division were: Challengers Andy Proper of Tidioute, PA; Street Stocks Jason Covey of Clymer, NY; Sportsmen Dan Nocero Jr of Jamestown, NY; Limited Late Models Ryan Scott of Garland, PA; Sugar Grove Beverage E-Mods Greg Johnson of Busti, NY; RUSH Crate Late Models Jason Genco of Frewsburg, NY; and Overhead Door of Jamestown Super Late Models Greg Oakes of Franklinville, NY. Rookies of the year were Chris Horton (Challengers), Jared Beardsley (Street Stock), Tommy Kosinski (Sportsmen), John Peterson (Limited Late Models), Jimmy Diabo (Sugar Grove Beverage E-Mods), and Chris Ottaway (Shults Auto Group RUSH Crate Late Models). The Overhead Door of Jamestown Super Late Models had no rookies competing. Genco was also named “Driver of the Year” for his accomplishments and Lacki Brothers Racing received the “Sportsmen of the Year Award” for their willingness to help competing teams and their helping attitudes with all of the racing fraternity. Cathie Donaldson was recognized as "Fan of the Year" for her attendance at the track over the entire 60 year history of Stateline. The Sponsor of the year was Lite House Auto and both Tobber Racing and Applebee Motorsports were recognized as "Legacy Sponsors".

The 2016 season at Stateline Speedway Presented by Lite House Auto will commence Friday, April 22 with a practice session. There will be a second practice session on Sunday April 24. In the event of rain on both dates a session will be held Wednesday April 27. The 60th Anniversary Season will commence April 30 with racing in all divisions starting at 7 PM.
