Final Warmup for the “60th Anniversary Special” this Saturday at Stateline!

Busti, NY (July 13, 2016): Points races may be heating up but the prime focus for drivers in in three classes at the New Stateline Speedway Presented by LiteHouse Auto will be a “warm-up” for the biggest night in Stateline history. The Overhead Door of Jamestown Super Late Models will be racing for $10,060 to win the 60-lapper on July 21st, the 60th anniversary of the first race at Stateline. On the card with the Super Late Models will be the Sugar Grove Outlaws E-Mods racing for 30 laps and $700 to win. Also, the Fox’s Pizza Den Street Stocks will be racing 25 laps for a first-place purse of $500.
 
All seven classes will be racing for points Saturday, July 16th in regular-length features. With his first win of the season last Saturday John Lobb is leading Dutch Davies, also a feature winner this season. The veteran Rich Gardner, a feature winner this season, is third with Chris Hackett and Chad Valone, both still searching for their first win of the season, fourth and fifth.
 
Ryan Scott, while not yet a Shults Auto Group RUSH Crate Late Model feature winner, has parlayed consistent top finishes into the points lead over his cousin Wyatt Scott, winner the two first nights of the season. Another two-time winner, Damian Bidwell is third. Andy Boozel, not yet a Victory Lane visitor, and two-time winner Darrell Bossard fill out the top five.
 
Without a win at the halfway point of the season Butch Southwell leads the Sugar Grove Beverage Outlaw E-Mods. Single winner Troy Carr is second with four-time winner David Scott third.
 
Four-time winner and former champion Jim Kibbe leads three-time winner and defending champion Dan Nocero Jr in the Himes Auction Super Sportsmen championship standings.
 
Jason Covey has three wins and leads the Rusted Nutz ProMods points over Single winner Kelly Frederes.
 
Dave Shagla has four wins and the season lead in Fox’s Pizza Den Street Stock competition while Any Proper has built a big lead in the Bailey’s Towing & Recovery Super Challengers standings with five wins, the most of any competitor in 2016.
 
All classes will be in action this Saturday in the final warm-up to the biggest event of the season, “The 60th Anniversary Special” coming up Thursday, July 21st.
 
The New Stateline Speedway Presented by Lite House Auto is located south of Jamestown, NY on Kortright Rd in the town of Busti, NY races every Saturday with activities getting underway promptly at 7:00 PM. Pit gates open at 4 PM with fan gates opening at 5. Tickets for regular events are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors (65 and over) and college students with current school ID, and veterans with ID, $8 for kids 6-15, with 5 and under always free. Pit admission is $30. Special events may be more with details to be announced.
