Fan Appreciation, autograph night this Saturday at Stateline!

Busti, NY (August 10, 2016): Stateline Speedway will hold its annual Pepsi Fan Appreciation Night combined with Autograph Night this Saturday night. This special night will be sponsored by Hines Auction Company and will feature $10 admission for all adults, students, and veterans with kids 6-16 only $5. Of course kid 5 and under are always free. Bailey’s Towing & Recovery will sponsor the autograph session on the racing surface at intermission for all classes, including kart teams from “The Little Track”.

The main action on the track will be for the Bailey’s Towing & Recovery Super Challengers, which will contest a special feature that will pay $250 to win, the biggest purse of the season for the front wheel drive racers. Defending Champion Andy Proper has dominated the class this season, winning seven features. Skip Jackson, a single winner, is second, a whopping 477 points behind! Kevin Covell is third, another 104-points back, but only two points ahead of fourth-running Ben Sudol.

With only four weeks of racing in the regular season before “lThe Stateline Shootout” the points races are really important. John Lobb has a very slim lead over two time champion Dutch Davies within other two time champion, David Scott, only another forty points back for the Overhead door of Jamestown Super Late Model Chase while Ryan Scott has a slim 16-point advantage over two-time champion Damian Bidwell with Darrell Bossard 53-points back of Bidwell in third.

Butch Southwell hasn't yet won a feature but leads six time winner David Scott by 64-markers in the Sugar Grove Beverage Outlaw E-Mod championship tilt. Kelly Frederes heads the standings of the Rusted Nutz ProMods, Stateline’s newest class, by 64-points over Scott Gurdak. Jason Covey is third, another 33-points back. All three have feature wins and all three are former champions in other classes.

With six wins Dave Shagla Jr, leads the Fox’s Pizza Street Stocks by 166 points over two-time winner Bill Reeves, single winner Gary Fisher is another 231 points back in third. In the Himes Auction Super Sportsmen Championship standings, five time winner Jim Kibbe leads fiver time winner Dan Nocero by only two points, the slimmest margin of any class. Both leaders are former champions, Nocero the defending title holder. Michael Kosinski is third, 295 points down.

The New Stateline Speedway Presented by Lite House Auto is located south of Jamestown, NY on Kortright Rd in the town of Busti, NY races every Saturday with activities getting underway promptly at 7:00 PM. Pit gates open at 4 PM with fan gates opening at 5. Tickets for this special event are $10 for adults, $10 for seniors (62 and over) and college students with current school ID, and veterans with ID, $5 for kids 6-15, with 5 and under always free.
