Stateline Speedway practice set for this Saturday, season opener May 12

May 3, 2018

With the late season arctic weather experienced at the hands of Mother Nature this year, Stateline Speedway’s scheduled opening has been delayed until May 12.

A practice session will be conducted this Saturday, May 5, with gates opening at 5 p.m. and practice sessions starting at 6 and set to conclude at 9 p.m.

The featured class for the Opening Mother’s Day Special will be the Overhead Door of Jamestown Super Late Models, contesting a 50-lap feature paying $3,000 to the winner. The mother’s, wives, or “significant others” of the drivers will conduct a complete redraw for the Feature starting positions.

All other classes will be in competition, including the RUSH Crate Late Models, the Rusted Nutz Garage E-Mods, the RUSH Pro Mods, the Penn-Ohio Pro Stocks, and the Challengers will all run regular-length programs.

Admission tickets for this special event are as follows: Adults-$15; Seniors/Vets-$10; Students (11-15)-$8; 10 and Under-FREE; Pits-$30. Special event admission will be higher.
