Pete Loretto and Bill Law to be honored at Stateline Speedway this Saturday!
  Fourth try for opening “6-Pak” night!
    Busti, NY, (May 16, 2018) — Stateline Speedway will try again to start the 2018 season on May 19 with not one, but two extra length/extra pay races honoring special people in its history. Pete Loretto was a track official at several local speedways throughout his life and was a happy fan at a race track somewhere in the area when he wasn’t working. Bill Law was a car owner and almost single-handedly responsible for the introduction of the Crate Late Model class now sanction by RUSH to Stateline. The two were universally loved and respected in the area for their contributions to the sport. This night will honor their efforts with extra lap/extra pay events. Even with the two special events, admission will be at regular pricing!
    The Overhead Door of Jamestown Super Late Models will race 30 laps for $2000 to win while the RUSH Crate Late Models will also run 30 laps for $2000 to win. The Rusted Nutz Auto Repair and Restoration Outlaw E-Mods, the RUSH ProMods, Penn-Ohio Pro Stocks, and Challengers will all run a full program of heats and feature.
    Admission for regular 6- are as follows: Adults-$15; Seniors/Vets-$10; Students (11-15)-$8; 10 and Under-FREE; Pits-$30. Special event admissions will be higher. Pit gates will open at 4 PM and fan gates will open at 5 PM.
    Stateline Speedway on Kortwright Road in Busti, NY, has been in continuous operation since 1956 and is currently owned by Jim and Jean Scott and Dave Turner. Racing is presented every Saturday night during the racing season, this year from April 28 through August 31 plus special events and practices.
