Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series returns to Stateline Speedway in 2025

November 9, 2024

Coming into its 25th Anniversary, the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series will now showcase two $10,000-to-win events at the Stateline Speedway in Busti, N.Y., along with a $5,000-to-win UMP DirtCar Elite Motorsports United E-Mod Series race.

ULMS Series Director Trevor Zuver was eager to see what the potential was for new events and growth under the new management of Bill and Lisa Catania, and after a phone call both parties came together with very similar proposals putting together what is shaping up to be the largest paying weekends for Super Late Models in New York State for 2025.

The Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series will make its first appearance at the speedway since July 3, 2021, which saw Dave Hess Jr. take home $3,000 over Max Blair in a 30-lap main event.

Currently scheduled to take place Saturday, July 5, the 50-lap event paying $10,000-to-win with a total purse of over $30,000 will now showcase one of the top paying regional events in the Northeast.

Zuver has already filled the weekend with other events in the area, boasting payouts of nearly $90,000 for one of the largest weekends the tour has seen over the Fourth of July Weekend in recent years.

To follow it up, the tour will return Saturday, Sept. 13, to cap off Stateline Speedway’s 2025 race season in their end-of-year Fall Brawl.

The ULMS will be traveling from the night before at the Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, and will race for another $10,000 top prize as they race 50 laps around the Stateline Speedway dirt oval.

Paired up with Outlaw Speedway, the two events will pay out approximately $60,000 that Friday and Saturday.

The Elite Motorsports United E-Mod Series on Friday, Sept. 12, will be racing for $5,000 to win. Coming off its first year back in competition after several years off, Zuver knew the action-packed mini-series needed to return.

The tour will consist once again of only a select few marquee events throughout the Northeast, and in 2025 all events show increases in purse money once again.

The Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series season is still actively adding events for the year.
