2016 Driver and Owner Forms Now on the site.

April 7, 2016

This applies for the big track, NOT the go kart track.

The driver registration, W-9, driver rules sign off sheet, and a minor release for under 18 drivers are now available, go to the driver download section ( DRIVER DOWNLOAD ) and find your forms and print out and bring to the track at practice so you don't have to stand in line opening night. Make sure your driver registration has your 2016 sponsors to be used by  the announcer. Remember the W-9 is to be filled out by the person responsible for paying the taxes on winnings, if there is not a W-9 on file each year you compete and for each car (if you own multiple cars) filled out legibly, you will NOT be paid. Please read the driver rule sheet and sign off that you have read the sheet. ALL FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED AND SIGNED BEFORE COMPETING AND IN ORDER TO BE PAID.
Upon recommendation from the insurance company this year any 1st year ROOKIE and ANY MINOR DRIVER 18 years old and UNDER must take an online safety class and pass before being able to compete on the big track. The website will be announced as soon as it becomes available, should be by early next week. The cost for the online class is $40.00, upon completing the course you will be sent and Stateline will be notified from the company of your passing, Stateline will issue one pit pass valued at $30.00 to each passing driver. The Motorsports Safety company also gives vouchers from these or other similar companies such as Speedway Motors, AFCO and others for all passing drivers. Once the website is setup, you just have to sign up, watch some videos, answer a few questions under each of 4 sections. Minor Drivers will be required to sign a minor release which also includes previous racing experience.

Due to regulations this year NO one under the age of 14 will be permitted in the pits. Those under the age of 18 will be required to sign a minor release form which includes parents signature.      All cars will be staged in an area to the right just before entering the track for all races, where lineups will be checked. All cars will be required to be in this area and in proper alignment prior to entering the track. Failure to be in lineup prior to the white flag lap of the previous race will forfeit your starting position. Anyone running more than one class will need to make the officials aware and consideration for line ups will be addressed. Second car may need to be brought to staging area.  Due to regulations no more than one crew member will be allowed in that area.     Practice gets under way on Friday April 22 with gates opening at 4:00 and practice getting underway at 5-7 pm. One of the concessions will also be open for your convenience. The New Stateline Speedway is planning a car show on Sunday April 24 prior to practice. Gates open at noon, free entry to show from 1-3 pm. At the conclusion of the car show at 3 pm, everyone will be asked to vacate the pits, paid re-entry and practice from 4-7 pm. Car Show participants in attendance will be judged by a panel of "Guests" and each division winner will receive a free pit pass voucher for a regular racing event. As always weather permitting. Pit admission for both practices is $20.00, general seating is free. There will be a concession open for your convenience.
