Carlson led from the drop of the green after a first lap restart with Frederes second. At the checkers it was Carlson, Frederes, Jeramy Williams, Scott Gurdak, and Jason Covey. After the first-lap incident the event ran caution free over the twenty-five lap distance.

Bossard took off with the immediate lead. Dave Lyon ran second in the early going followed by Andy Boozel, Jeff Hoffman, and Scott Gurdak. The order was still the same at the halfway point. In heavy traffic shortly after halfway Bossard experienced heavy contact with lapped cars but held on, going on to his third win of the season over Lyon and Hoffman with Boozel winding up fourth and Damian Bidwell getting by Gurdak for fifth.

Wayne Mohawk slowed at thirteen laps, again slowing the race.  One more lap got in before Tyler Dynys and Eric Hastings got together in turn four as the race neared its time limit. With Shagla now second the race resumed with six laps and two minutes left. When green again flew Shagla used the outside to try to get the lead but had no luck until three laps left when he was next to the leader at the stripe but yellow flew for debris before he was able to complete the pass. When the time limit reached the race was declared complete at seventeen laps. It was Couchenour’s first win of the season.
