Who’s ready to get their racing fix? Finally, race season is upon us and Stateline Speedway couldn’t be more excited to get the track rolling. Fresh off practice from the night before, the racing groove will be ready for make-up features from last year’s ‘Stateline Shoot-Out’ on top of a full program for Street Stocks, Outlaw E-Mods, RUSH Crate Late Models, and Super Late Models.

The Street Stocks will go door to door in a $600 to win race paying $150 to start. You can expect Dave Shagla and Bill Reeves to be two of the front runners in the event. They will then have heats and an added feature by the end of the night paying the regular weekly purse.

‘The Sugar Grove Beverage’ Outlaw E-Mods take center stage in a $200 to start, $1,400 to win event that didn’t draw in a full 24 car field last season. Any new comers wanting to start the race will be required to pay an entry fee of $30 on top of their pit admission. All Outlaw E-Mods attending will be eligible to race the added heats and feature for a regular purse at no extra cost. Expect Butch Southwell’s #55s machine and Justin Carlson’s #16 to contend for the win; with Conneaut’s own Joel Watson starting on the pole. There is a high possibility of other hot shoes from around the area showing up to tail the field and contend for the large payday.

The biggest event of the night is the event that has technically already started. When the rain came down and washed out the rest of our evening last season, we were on lap 2 of a 50 lap $5,000 to win Super Late Model race. So, when we fire the engines for them this time, we will be on lap 2, with 48 laps to go. The running order will remain the same as it was at the time of the caution, putting Dave Hess of Waterford, PA and David “Slow Ride” Scott from Garland, PA on the front row. Chris Hackett and Bump Hedman will make up row two, followed by Matt Urban, Darrell Bossard, Max Blair, Robbie Blair, Doug Eck, and Brent Rhebergen of Clymer, NY rounding out the top ten. You won’t want to miss this one as many drivers including; Matt Lux, Greg Oakes, Dylan Yoder, Chad Valone, Ward Schell, and Jared Miley among several others will be doing everything they can to get to the front. And that’s all before they line the cars back up for heat races and ANOTHER feature!

The only one of our four divisions that will not be running a “double” are the RUSH Crate Late Models. All RUSH Crate Late cars are encouraged to come join the field, as we will draw for starting spots in the heats, and determine your starting spot in the feature based off the finish. Consolation races will be run for all the regular shows if necessary.

Stateline Speedway gets things started on the 6th of April with an open practice for all classes. Start time is 4PM til 7:30PM. Then we turn right around and fire things back up for a full night of racing on April 7th, green flag is at 7:30PM.

Admission prices will be $20 for an adult general admission, $15 for veteran and senior citizens. 10 and under are FREE. If you have your ticket stub from last season’s Shoot-Out, it will be good for $15 towards admission.

Pit admission will be $30, unless you have your band from last season’s Shoot-Out. The Shoot-Out band will be honored with an additional $20 to get in. No one under the age of 14 is permitted in the pit area.
